Stop by and visit. Everyone is welcome!
Here are some common questions and answers that visitors might have…
Where can I park?
There are several convenient places around our church where you can park, including:
- Free parking is available along any of the nearby streets.
- We have a small parking lot on the 400 block of Howard Avenue that is open on Sundays and for any special events.
- There is angled parking along the street on South Duke Street just a block from the church.
What style of music can I expect?
We have different worship leaders with different styles and preferences – so we worship in multiple styles and multiple languages as we strive to reflect the creativity of our Creator and congregation in our hymn and song choices. You can find samples of our worship lists on Spotify.
How long is your service?
A typical service runs about 90 minutes, with about 30 minutes focused on the message.
Do you have anything for my kids?
During the Worship Service, children are invited and encouraged to join us for praise, communion, and offering as we believe it is valuable for children to see their families participate in these areas of worship. During the message we have a staff of volunteers who lead our Children’s Church (K-5th grade) for a time of music, crafts, and message designed to engage them in the same message being shared with the youth and adults.
COVID-19 UPDATE: We aren’t having Sunday School until further notice.
Why do you collect money?
Giving is an important part of our expression of worship to God and an outward sign of our gratitude for His generosity towards us. As members of Crossroads, we give cheerfully knowing that God will use our offerings to help provide a place to worship each week, provide for staff needs, support local and international ministry partners, and to assist in engaging our community – all in the Name and Love of Jesus. As a visitor, please do not feel any pressure to give – we’re glad you’re here!
Do you have a dress code?
At Crossroads, you will find people in suits sitting next to people in jeans and t-shirts. Our focus during worship is Jesus, not what each other is wearing… Modestly comfortable will be perfectly appropriate for Sunday Worship.
